Yasser Khattar
“Nass” marks the comeback of Yasser to Lebanon, after exhibiting abroad for many years. In his first solo exhibition in Beirut, Yasser invites us to explore the complex interplay between the human form and abstract expression. He uses a diverse range of abstract and expressionist approaches, from gestural painting and action painting to color field and lyrical abstraction. The artworks depict the profound sense of community and connection that defines our daily life, where time seems to slow down, and every moment is savored.
“Nass” aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia and appreciation for the simplicity and richness of life. The exhibition highlights the enduring values of connection, harmony, and shared experience. It seeks to remind us of the beauty found in everyday life and the importance of community and belonging.
